Details:
Watching from Langley Airport Approach with about ten of my former students from PSC and UWF, and as I predicted, appeared at 9:25 PM as orange dot rising just under Jupiter. Had predicted it might get as high as Saturn, but only got about ten degrees up before it arced back downward to safe landing in Gulf. At brightest, rivalled Jupiter, bright orange in binocs, gorgeous sequence with Starry Camera and iPhone 6s in 30" exposure mode. Note in last shot, it is so cool that it is almost invisible coming back down, and parachutes will deploy seconds later. A show to savor for a lifetime.
