A Panasonic DMC-FZ72 bridge camera was fitted with a Baader solar filter and mounted on a static tripod. The exposure was set to 1/800s and ISO 100. Optical zoom was set to maximum, 60x which is the equivalent of a 35mm camera with an F=1200mm lens. Images were captured in burst mode in bursts of 3. 189 images were captured as quickly as possible. The images were precisely cropped in Nicola's AstroCrop. The best 90% of the cropped images were stacked in Autostakkert!, the stacked image was wavelet processed in Registax 6 and post-processed in the Gimp 2.10.
