Details:
Some rather fast and strong activity at the solar limb today, with large plasma structures evolving in just minutes. This active region promises good action in the following few days. Here is only a four frame sequence showing a massive surge extending in just 20 minutes on a large part of the solar surface. Fair seeing. 150 mm refractor, Quark chromosphere.
