Details:
Nothing unusual or flashy. Just a pretty scene, in the evening twilight of a gorgeous day to be outside, with Venus next to Antares and neighboring stars in Scorpius. The "Cat's Eyes" (Shaula and Lesath) are visible at the left edge. A waxing gibbous Moon high in the southeast kept the sky bluer than it normally would have been that late into dusk. Labelled and unlabelled photos.

Of mild interest is that Venus reaches its furthest south azimuth for this apparition on November 10th. At that time Venus will appear a bit further left relative to the horizon, and Sagittarius will have replaced Scorpius as the featured constellation. But I doubt it will be as warm and pleasant an evening as this one was.
