Details:
The solar wind was very dense tonight and with a consistently negative Bz, I knew that the Auroras could become really bright. I set up to start a live stream hoping for a quick start, little did I know that it would take about 2 hours to build up until we finally got a strong show!
The auroras started surprisingly in the east / south east, which is a rare occurrence here. I mean, they were really only in that part of the sky. Then they grew towards the zenith and before we knew it the sky was all green, with coronas raining down on us like there's no tomorrow.
Ok I'm being a bit dramatic but it was a really cool show here in Utsjoki almost at 70°N!
