Details:
We went to Peyto Lake for Aurora chasing since forecast said potential was high for solar storm. The Solar storm started around 9pm and getting stronger and stronger, the entire mountain was lit by aurora. and we noticed a red light beam rose from the peak of the front mountain-Caldron Peak, it's so strong we could see it with our eyes. It's around 10:30pm and it repeated couple of times. I started to yell to my friends, and turned my camera -Nikon Z7II, to capture this Red beam-lateron,my friend Jun wang clarified that it's SAR, not normal Aurora.
