Details:
Headed out NE of Calgary on Monday night just after 10PM to capture the expected aurora. I was not disappointed. After 30 minutes of columns and curtains, these rippling sheets showed up to dazzle. They only lasted at this level for five minutes or so but what a show! Every dog and coyote within earshot was barking and howling at the sky - very surreal. That, and the aurora "tornado". I 'may" have captured STEVE as well. Not sure at this point. Canon 5D MKIV 20-35 2.8L @20mm
