Cool sun today! There were a couple nice prominences plus active sunspot AR2882. I included a cropped combo image of that sunspot and its active filament over 32 minutes. Notice there was mini-flaring (bright spots) starting near the filament at the 10:47 AM mark. This mini-flaring spouted off a rapidly changing larger filament.
