Details:
This Saturday morning, August 11, I photographed this gigantic but faint prominence. This prominence is one of the largest in recent years, with a length of about 280,000 km. In addition, the solar disk has numerous active regions and sunspots. Definitely the new solar cycle is gaining strength.
To take this picture I used a 90mm aperture Coronado Solarmax II solar telescope and a ZWO 183MM camera.
