Details:
Inspired by an article in the Daily Mail about UK photographer Dawid Glawdzin, who takes the most amazing astronomical photographs with his Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, I decided to try my luck with my humble iPhone 8. I drove to our local sports oval, away from street lights, and (being a complete astro-photographic noob) simply pointed my phone at the sky and clicked. The results? Not so great! The first photo is of Jupiter and Saturn, nearly overhead, the second is of Venus to the west, and the third is of Crux setting towards the SSW.
