Waiting for the CME’s that never showed up, last night watching the data improving around 1:30 am I decided to get out and try some Milky Way shots and hopefully to get some “green” going along. Arrived on location on a magnificent free of clouds night, the first in days, MW was gorgeous and to the northern horizon the green band was present. Took a bit more than half an hour to charge and evolve when I got some nice red band and pillars on top of the greenish yellowish band. Not a bad start for September, with hope to get more amazing show in the days to come.
