Details:
This is an annual photo opportunity, every August the day length is such that the Moon sets in the Belt of Venus (Earth's shadow). If it is a clear morning such as this one it is a beautiful sight of the orange Moon setting behind the mountains to the southwest seen from my backyard. The Earth shadow gives a vibrant contrast sky to the orange Moon on this date and is something I look forward to each year. https://flic.kr/p/2mizQgt https://flic.kr/p/2mivfkr
