Details:
Absolute belter of a meteor last night, slow moving and incredibly bright, lighting up the sky at one point before breaking into several fragments. Not sure if it was a Perseid or not, it was certainly much slower than the other Perseids I was viewing on the night. This was my third night out viewing and trying to capture Perseids, and made up for a rather disappointing 12th when there was a good deal of upper cloud over Southwest Scotland. Taken looking south over New England Bay and Drummore, Rhins of Galloway, at 2240 UTC. Samyang 14mm lens, f4.0, ISO6400, 10 second exposure.
