Details:
In just one day Mercury has ascended from below to above Regulus (second and third images) and was visible through post-sunset glare for a few minutes longer before disappearing below the local horizon. The lead x20 speed time-lapse animation shows it setting between 6.04 and 6.08 pm. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in night scenery mode.
