Comet 4P/Faye continues to brighten as it moves towards its close approach to Earth in December 2021 when it may reach magnitude 10. The comet currently is about magnitude 12 and has a tail that is at least 0.13 degrees long in this gif that weas taken under a 93% illuminated Moon. The gif is 3 images each 180 seconds long. As usual select the big image to get a better resolution image to appear.
