Details:
On Tuesday evening the sky cleared enough to observe the close conjunction of Venus and Mars descending from late sunset twilight to last light over Transmitter Hill near Mutare. The pair, a considerable distance below the Waxing Crescent Moon, were less than 0.5 degrees apart and a beautiful sight to behold under stars of the Leo constellation as darkness approached. Camera: Tripod mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset and night scenery modes.
