CHI-1 belongs to, Telescope Live. It is a Planewave CDK24, a 61-cm telescope with Corrected Dall Kirkham optical design, situated in the Rio Hurtado Valley, Chile. It is equipped with a set of Astrodon astrophotography filters as well as Sloan photometry filters and it's, therefore, an excellent choice for both scientific applications and astrophotography of deep-sky objects.

Hello,
here is a comet that I took with the 24 "telescope in Chile and I think that for the time being I am the only one taking comets with this telescope. You can not just specifying the comet's name. (Software problem)
So I have to use all my skills to make it happen. Ie. find a free time to use the telescope, enter the coordinates of the comet at this time because the coordinates changes all the time. Calculate the maximum exposure time so that the comet does not move more than 3 pixels on the CCD. Select filters and the number of exposures in each filter. Watch out for the moon. Then hope that clouds do not destroy as was the case with the 3rd picture.

So here's a video of what it's all about.
