Details:
The detail image of USA-229 DEB is the preceding satellite of the USA-229 satellite pair (new generation NOSS formation). The satellites are particularly a challenge because both perigee as apogee altitude are higher then 1000 km. The image was taken from a range of 1122 km. We can make out clearly a satellite bus and solar panels at both sides of it. Note also a possible shadow on the panel on the right side in the image. When there is interest, more images of the session and raw frame animations and images of the other satellite of the pair could be posted on my website http://www.ralfvandebergh-astrophotography.simpsite.nl/home
