Looking east at sunset (9:00 pm) There were thunder clouds obscuring the sunset to the west and this view of anti-solar (anti-crepuscular) rays toward the east which made it look like the sun was coming up. The rays of light danced in the sky for about 10 minutes giving the appearance of a daytime aurora.
