Details:
Taken at 4:33AM, 55 minutes before sunrise.
The reddish top on the Noctilucent clouds is the result of the sun's limit at illuminating these clouds at ~83km up (55 minutes before sunrise). Great care was given in making this panorama to ensure color balance and highlight, shadow, whites and blacks settings reflected what the eye saw.
The two bright lights at center is exactly north. The scene approaches 90 degrees from left to right. The handle and dipper of the Big Dipper is center left and the brights star at top is part of the Small Dipper (about 35 degrees above the horizon).
