Details:
I was on the overnight BA flight from JFK to Heathrow. I was trying to take a few photos of the big Dipper when I began to see an otherworldly blue glow in front of the wing. It grew into such an amazing display I could not stop watching until the sun rose. I have seen such great photos of these clouds on Spaceweather's Gallery and yearned to see them for myself one day. Well I finally have and it was such a gift! I took great video as well. Taken with a Pixel 4XL. Brian McDonough
