Details:
Tonight's (Jun 13-14) photo of the nova. To help people find it I prepared a map with location data in red. It's just past Aquila's western wing tip just over the boundary between Aquila and Hercules.
Early in the morning when it had moved closer to the meridian, I determined its brightness using 15x50IS binoculars to be mag 8.7. The nova is marked with red tick marks, the comparison star with green. Unlike Nova Cas that has been hanging in there, Nova Her seems to be quick up, quick down.
