Details:
Clear sky in the evening of Saturday 12th provided uninterrupted views of the Young (2 day old) Moon, Venus and later some Gemini Stars (including Castor and Pollux) setting behind the summit of Transmitter Hill. The accompanying images and time-lapse animations are from sequences of photographs taken while Venus and then the Moon disappeared behind the shoulder of Transmitter Hill in approaching darkness. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in manual exposure and night scenery modes.
