Details:
Montrealer's were graced by an amaaaazing solar eclipse this morning, with the moon slowly gliding in front of old Sol, reaching maximum coverage at 5:38am. At one point, I joked with some fellow photographers that the eclipse looked like the Amazon smile as seen on their packages. A large crowd gathered at the chalet lookout on Mount Royal to view the spectacular event. For photographers out there, eclipse images taken with a Nikon D850, Nikkor 500 f/4 + Nikkor TCEIII teleconverter (effective 1000mm). Exposure 1/8000 @ f/11 to f/20
