Details:
I have rarely had success with shooting the aurora during a almost full moon, but a M1.1 solar flare from the Sun on May 23, 2021, left me with little doubt that we would get a good show even with the full moon. The CME's arrival was a day late but provided the necessary juice to fire up the aurora. In fact I saw a first tonight and that was a Double Band of Aurora Pillars, it was simply amazing sight to behold!
