Details:
This photo was taken about 8 minutes (3:03 a.m.) before totality. At this point the clouds rolled in and totality was completely obscured. From 61 degrees north latitude the moon was low in the sky, and the sky was relatively light. This photo shows a more realistic view of a lunar eclipse, although through a telephoto lens.
