Today, there was a cool emerging (as yet unnamed) sunspot group near larger sunspot AR2824. In h-alpha, it looked like cell chromosomes pulling apart in a reproducing cell! Otherwise, there were a few modest prominences and AR2824 still looks impressive. 102 mm f/7 refractor, Daystar Quark chromosphere filter, DMK 21AU618.AS camera.
