Since travelling to the North has not been possible for such a long time I looked at my "old" Aurora-photos again and found these most exciting Auroras of 2016.
After standing in a heavy snowstorm with my back to the wind in the late evening hours at last the sky began to clear up and I could see some very thin but colorful rays that soon disappeared again. Then there was absolutely nothing but the bright moon until after some time later suddenly a bright green band appeared deep over the southern! horizon and persisted for a longer time. Then suddenly the sky exploded with incredible rays and coronas and quickly changing colors. Even the red was clearly visible to the naked eye! In the end of the big show the Corona suddenly changed from lively colorful to green.
The photos look slightly blurry because of the snowcrystals that filled the air.
