Details:
Due to atmospheric refraction, tonight's rising Super Pink Moon was slightly elongated and looked more like a cantaloupe! This image was taken as the Moon was rising over Union Beach, NJ, across the Raritan Bay. I used a tripod-mounted Canon T3i/Lunt80 ED combination.
