Details:
Venus, which is still very close to the Sun, was viewed from Mutare for the first time on Thursday 22nd April at 5.28 pm 10 minutes after the sun had set below the local horizon. The accompanying images need to be viewed full screen to pick it out against the bright glow of sunset. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in sunset mode.
