Details:
Cracking aurora last night from Monymusk, Aberdeenshire, with some of the brightest rays Ive seen for a time. I headed down quite early as it was obvious something big was afoot, and it certainly paid off, with the aurora first becomeing visible just after 2100 UTC, about an hour before it was completely dark. This shot was taken at 2136 UTC, during what turned out to be the strongest aurora of the night. It wont be long now before we loose complete darkness in the north of Scotland, so there probably wont be many more this season.
