Something strange happened during sunset tonight. Immediately before sunset, some clouds apparently "sliced" the sun into strange formations - and subsequently it looked like a sun pillar appeared. It just didn't touch the sun, but was sort of shifted upwards. I don't know what caused these phenomena, however, it was quite spectacular!
