Details:
It was very low in the NNW for tonight's photo (Apr 7) and is in fact circumpolar for any latitude north of about +29°. The previous night (Apr 6) using 15x50IS binoculars I estimated the nova at magnitude 7.6.

Labeled and unlabeled versions. To get your sky directions, 4 Cas is directly N of M52 with W clockwise.
