Pay close attention to the center of the image. You will see a very rare tether like structure which connects to the deep core of the umbra; This is an umbilical cord of magnetism, connecting a small pore to the well of energy below the umbra of its parent sunspot. A transfer of energy and particles between core and pore; Flows through the hollow tube.
