Details:
The auroras never cease to amaze me here in the far north of Lapland. Despite a constantly positive Bz, the auroras were mostly overhead and above the southern horizon. For several long minutes we even had a "Steve like" purple ribbon extending all across the sky, but at the northernmost edge of the aurora display. So probably not "Steve". But this was something I never really observed before! At 1:45 AM local time, the morning twilight started dissipating the aurora... The end of the season is upon us!
