Details:
At dawn on Sunday 28th there was a beautiful display of Anticrepuscular Rays which converged on Murahwa Mountain. What was interesting in this case is that no Crepuscular Rays were seen radiating from the east due to a layer of low cloud above the local horizon where the Sun was due to rise! The display was the result of early rising sunlight being partially blocked by more distant, end of rainy season, cumulus clouds to the east with some passing overhead to produce a display of anticrepuscular rays and cloud shadows which converged on the anti-solar point above Murahwa Mountain to the west. Camera: Hand-held Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in sunset mode.
