I guess the CME that was announced for 23 March did not arrive - but we don't really care up here in Utjsoki, Finnish Lapland, at 70°N. Around 11:30 PM local time, the sky exploded in green and pink ribbons - a beautiful nitrogen fringe indeed! I guess that weak solar wind parameters combined with a persistent negative Bz is all we need! The "earthly" wind was however just crazy, take a look at the trees!
