Details:
Does anyone know what could cause this disturbance in a solar prominence. I posted a 3 hour GIF on the 16 March but here I have isolated an event that I cannot explain. Sequence from 13:57 UT to 14:46 UT. The same event was captured on the GONG Cerro Tololo Chile Ha telescope. Something disturbs the prominence as it lifts at about 44,000km/hour. The chromosphere is distinct and helps provide scale to this anomaly.
