Details:
The weather has finally turned! It was slightly above freezing as I set up my tripod in my backyard to capture the ISS transit at 8:45pm. I wore a light sweater instead of the heavy winter coat! There was a first quarter moon that threatened to overwhelm everything. but it ended up washing out the dimmest stars, making it so much easier to see all the constellations. I started counting and there are clearly 13 of them plus minor ones. Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Orion, Sirius, Taurus, Perseus, Auriga, Cassiopia, Capheus, Ursa Major, Ursa Minor, Draco plus Mars!
