Details:
STEVE put on a great show on March 13, about an hour after the main auroral oval to the north was at its brightest but then faded. But from 11:30 to midnight, Mountain STANDARD time, STEVE appeared across the sky, first as the characteristic purple arc then developing green picket fence fingers rippling from east to west. STEVE last about 30 minutes before fading. STEVE was sighted at the same time from well to the east over Manitoba. So the STEVE arc was at least 1000 km long. These are views looking east, overhead and west over my house. All are with a 15mm lens and a Sony a7III camera.
