Little that I knew, before I was heading out, to photograph the March 2nd geomagnetic storm, that I will catch magnificent coronas overhead with the Mars and The Pleiades Conjunction….Always looks up and you’ll see the beauty… after the craziness with the fast moving pink bands and curtains the show slowed down a bit and everything moved up. The Northern Lights started dancing overhead and towards south, south-west with beautiful, colorful, coronas. Wherever you looked, she was all over the sky. Only after I got home and start looking at the corona pictures I realized that the Pleiades and Mars were playing a huge role in all of the frames. What a wonderful bonus after the brilliant geomagnetic storm…(March 02, 2021, Athabasca County, Alberta, Canada - D850, Sigma Art 14mm 1.8, ISO 3200; 1.6 seconds exposure; f 1.8, 14mm)
