Another great night in Abisko! Yesterday I spent some time making adjustments on our brand new, real time webcam. I kept a close eye on spaceweather.com and it looked like last night would be promising so my wife and her family packed up the snowmobiles and headed out on the frozen surface of Lake Tornetrask for a little bit of fun :) The northern lights started early in the night, and danced off and on nearly all night long. The auroras had to compete with a full Moon, but the show was still incredible. The solar wind might have had a weak impact, but you would have never known it in Abisko! As a bonus, a few members of our family got to see the northern lights for the very first time. Watch the show live, every night on our array of webcams here: https://lightsoverlapland.com/aurora-webcam/
