Details:
NASA satellite imagery on 20 February suggested a plume of Sahara dust threading towards north-west Europe. An extraordinary diffuse pink sunrise over Eastern England with the hint of a sun pillar just before dawn on 21 February raises the question: was this caused by the desert dust?
