Details:
Apophis is well-placed for observation for a few weeks and is brighter than it will be until its naked-eye close pass by Earth in 2029. Tonight it was at 16th magnitude crossing Hydra and 0.12 a.u. distant. 30cm f/8 reflector, QSI 683 binned x4. 32 60s exposures between 01h01m and 01h38m UT.
