Details:
I would say that this cold has subsided for Calgary, today it was -15 C, and other than a bitter southern wind I ventured out SW of Calgary where there are some nice views of fields and mountains I was after sundogs I noticed them about and hour before sunset and I had to gas up and still drive to this location, so it was no stopping for pictures. After gassing up I head Southwest towards 22X any field will do as I wanted a sunset shot. I was really surprised when a Sundog appeared Northwest of the Sun, I was asking myself is that a Sundog right on the horizon? And wow it started to form and stayed for 30 min it was simply amazing.
