Object/Date: C/2021 A1 (Leonard) @ 2021 January 22, 11:37 UT Description: The new comet C/2021 A1 (Leonard) imaged on January 22, 2021, nineteen days after its discovery, seems have a coma about 10 arcseconds elongated to antisunward direction. Thist is the unstacked and static color image of the weakest comet that I have obtained to date, at magnitude 18.5 this comet still is so far as the planet Jupiter and will approach to the inner Solar System in late 2021 when could reach magnitude 4. The brightest star in the image has magnitude 8 and the galaxy at the center is PGC050326 at magnitude 16.5. Data and link to image: https://cometografia.es/2021a1-leonard-20210122/
