Always having a same mantra when going to chase the Northern Lights - low expectations, high hopes, low expectations, high hopes... Especially now with near-full moon. Tonight was different, though. For a moment, the magnetometers dipped down to more than -1000 nT and reaching KP8. This very moment we happened to be in a right place at the right time. Suddenly the whole sky was moving and dancing. It really felt like Aurora was hitting us with a hammer onto the head. So very strong was the effect. After this there were few more outbursts, but the first great one remained the best.
