Last night was a very special event - Comet Atlas came within half a degree of the blazing yellow star Capella and with an hour of darkness before the moon came up, we got it. We made a special trip up to our second high altitude observatory in Happy Jack at 7000 feet elevation and perfect transparent Bortle 1 skies. Your going to enjoy this one....
