Details:
The Long Night Moon or Cold Moon was a true force under the clear skies tonight in Eastern Pennsylvania. It's light transformed the landscape from darkness into day. This is my very first "Mineral Moon"attempt. The colors shown indicate various mineral composition across the Lunar surface. I used a Meade LX50 10" SCT with a 0.7x focal reducer and a Modified Canon XS DSLR to capture 71 images. The top 67 images were stacked using PIPP and aligned with Registax 6. The final stack was enhanced using PS5
