Details:
There was predicted occultation of HIP 99314 by Ganymede during the great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. This shows the star and Ganymede with a tiny separation before. This image was captured with a Questar telescope in Tucson AZ. The setup is shown in the other photo looking at the beautiful scene days earlier when the Moon joined the closing great conjunction. full resolution https://flic.kr/p/2kiSYn9 and https://flic.kr/p/2khHsBv
